This is a picture taken while walking on the beach near Texentown, a newly formed outdoor colony in the terraformed planet Totonna, Totonar system.
Originally a desert planet unable to sustain life, Totonna was terraformed by the Galactic Federation's robot task force, and reached habitable status 3 months ago.
A series of small colonies were then established, Texentown being one of them. It's a rather nice place, situated near grassy hills and a small lake, an optimized location calculated by the master computer overseeing the terraforming process.
But although some small parts of the planet are now seemingly Earth-like, the illusion is somewhat shattered if one wanders further away from the colony...For example the areas south of Texentown look like this, a strange mix of desert-like emptiness, an artificially created beach, and a cyber-organic "plant zone" that goes on for many miles...
The strange "plants" shown here are actually Bio-Spheres; cyber-organic entities used in soil enrichement processes, forest management and many other tasks. They're capable changing of their appearance and functionality depending on the task at hand, and can survive in almost any environment...Right now they look quite funny, but this is the form that their artificial intelligence has decided to take; a decision based on many scientific factors and their collective living experience so far on this planet.
Also you can see a small "plant tender drone" there, coming to say hello to the unexpected visitor...I'm already quite far away from the colony, and these small robots, in addition of taking care of the plant zone, also care about our well being. :)
And on the sky you can see a T-5 class transport craft, this is a common sight here, routine supply deliveries are made about 4 times a day...
But what made me stop at this particular spot, is that piece of wood on the beach...I have no idea where that has come from...There are no trees near this place, and the robots usually keep their "zones" clean and tidy; all foreign objects are quickly removed from their working environment. Could it have drifted from the lake? But no, it can't be, this is a "Smart" lake meant only for swimming; it's nano-water dissolves all potentially dangerous objects...so what is the story of this wood piece? A mystery indeed.

Thanks for the suggestions. :)
Yeah, maybe the left side of the pic might seem to have a little bit too bright and light colors...but on the other hand there is very strong sunlight which glares down to the viewer from the upper left corner of the viewers field of vision, and so I think that everything should look very bright there.
About the beach, yes I made that without a reference image, I just tried to imagine it, and that is how it turned out...not the best one, but on the other hand the beach was constructed by the terraforming robots, so I can always blame them. :)
