Not sure why you've done the rocks that way. They seem to get smaller towards the back, which creates an illusion that that suface is higher at the front and lower, closer to the ground towards the back. Also, the stairs look really out of place. Otherwise I think you done a good job with the sand tile, I can really appreciate how hard it is to make desert sand tiles look good and tileable.

Pretty high contrast and dark colors in that sand, makes it look a bit cloudy and somewhat layered. The staircase kind of sticks out a lot. I like the rocks and the crack textures though.
