Haven't pixeled anything for a while now, so I decided to spend some minutes every day this week for a little practice. These are the results: small combat icons with the old EGA Gold Box games in mind.

Aarakocra, axe beak, athatch (a scaled and a Gold-Box scale version), azer, arcanaloth, assassin vine and ash crawler.

16 EGA colors + 1 transparency for the sheet.

Rolled the letter K for the next week, will see if I can manage to keep up...

Excellent! The heavy saturation of many of the EGA colors really gives each sprite a distinctive and unique feel. Also, the movement is quite natural considering the tile space given for each sprite.
