It looks like the giant is walking inside water to me.
I like it.
I think this angle can work, but right now the giant looks small because of the scale of the clouds. If the giant was bigger relative to the size of the features/tufts of the clouds, it'd look bigger overall.
I feel like it works fairly well as is, but if you want to emphasize the scale more you can try switching the perspective and camera angle. For instance a low angle, looking upward at a subject makes it seem even larger.
Doing this will also allow you to add a background, or at least to show some elements that can be used to contrast against the size of the giant, which is also an important factor if you want to have something read as large/tall.
