Create a still life image that includes both:

• A liquid that has been spilled onto a table.
• And the container that the liquid was spilled from.

For example, you could show spilled milk and a glass next to it. You may incorporate other inanimate objects into the scene, if you like.

Create three sprites of a new and original video game boss. Each sprite should show a clearly distinct form or evolution of the boss.

As you may or may not have realised, we recently decided to give Steam Greenlight a stab with one of our more ambitious projects yet: Flightless!

User Showtime has very generously lent us some of her childhood art for this challenge.

Oekaki.nl, a Dutch website, has a browser-based pixel art animation program called "Animaki". Don't dismiss it for being "just" an HTML5 app, because it's surprisingly complete - even more so now that version 2 is out.
