UNITY is a game creation program for creating 3D games and have recently recieved a liscense from Nintendo for their users to create their own wii games. UNITY CEO David Helgason says: "This is the product combo of our dreams, Ever since it was announced we've longed to give game developers access to the sheer creative fun of the Nintendo Wii."

This little stop-motion animation recreates Super Mario Brothers in legos, which is charming enough, but what's even better is the theme, performed on guitar and recorder, and the sound effects, which appear to be some guy going "week! week!" and so on.

Once again, sedgemonkey f*cked up on the voting for the challenges. While correcting the voting last week I accidentally set a "spam vote" flag for the majority of all votes tallied. No votes were lost, but the top 3 positions in the challenge were not correct.
I've corrected all the voting and the awards and we have new winners for both Love Machine and Chinese New Year (just announced a couple hours ago). My deepest apologies to all who got the shaft on this: Setzer, iSTVAN, Krysis, Ensellitis, Skeddles, Tremulant and especially ThereIsNoCure who got robbed twice.

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, organizers lit up a 8.1-mile string of explosives in a southern Taiwanese county Sunday, hoping to create the world's longest firecracker in a record-setting attempt expected to last two hours. The Taiwanese were trying to beat Spain's record of 7 miles.
