Time for another pixel-what-you-see challenge. This time we only know that a three-year-old made it.
Interpret what you see in the image below. You may rotate the image in 90 degree increments and/or flip the image.
Inspiration links: Natalie's Drawing, Pearl's Story, Galt's World, It's Showtime, Thanwa's Painting, Drawer Geeks!
Canvas Size - Exactly 250 x 192. Either horizontal or vertical.
Colors - Unrestricted.
Transparency - No.
Animation - No.
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
Create an abstract representation of a specific piece of music (don't forget to mention what it is!).
As the challenge calls for an abstract piece, avoid identifiable physical objects (no living beings, household items, eggplants, etc...). Try to capture the feelings the music provokes when listening to it; think in terms of patterns; shapes; colours; and, of course, pixel clusters.
Keep in mind that abstract should not be taken to mean excessively simple minimalism. You should put as much effort into this challenge as you would with any other.
For some inspiration: An abstract music visualizer for iTunes.
Optional Bonus Challenge: Create an animated piece that is in time with the music.
Canvas Size - Exactly 128 x 72. Either horizontal or vertical.
Colours - Max 12.
Transparency - No.
Animation - Optional.
