First off thank you for at least taking time out of your day to critic my work. I really appreciate it. The more dull looking character that you said need to be more refined is actually a older verison of the character that looks blue. He actually has made a long and time consuming transition but I'm very proud of my work. Oddly enough though I've had many messages of people telling me that they love the style and want me to work with them making sprites for their games...

Back to topic though. I've had many people from different pixel communities coaching me on my techniques and I try to take in as much as possible. He is for a game though and I'll be doing mock ups pretty soon.
