The only thing I could mention as a suggestion would be to make the eye a separate color from the rest of the dragon... this way it sorta looks like it's made from sand or something. Not that that's a bad thing, it's kinda neat that way. Just a suggestion. :) I don't mind the animation speed, myself; watching it zoomed in slows it down a little (or, seems to?) enough to be able to see how it was made so I can steal your secrets, muahaha.
