Surfing or falling down an internet hole is a more accurate expression, the words just escaped me, and the active v. passive exploration is a great distinction. I used to surf Wikipedia some years ago and I didn't feel guilty about the time spent nor do I feel doomed as Gawrone put it, and I feel positive about surfing PJ as well.

I really like the composition and use of the colors, and the architecture is cool. Very curious about this Carcosa world.

I occasionally have "doomscrolling" episodes on PJ going down rabbit holes of seeing favorited pieces from artists, their favorites, and so forth. Though the site's wealth of art and artists, coupled by its age and abandoned users, make for it more like an interesting history/art museum than doomscrolling. Definitely a healthier alternative as Gawrone put it!

I'm very glad you like it! Learning C64 was tricky, but I learned a lot by viewing more art of it at c64gfx.com/. Super cool stuff there and it's magic to me what some people can do with the palette. It makes me feel as though I know nothing about color haha.
