The sunset-y lighting on the mushroom cloud and distance from the chaos achieves an oddly peaceful effect. Dithering brings it home. Really cool!

In love with this palette. Wouldn't have thought it was 23 colors! There is such an epic connection between the figure in the foreground and the light piercing through the clouds in the background. Reminds me of some old luminist painting. Very cool.
