Thank you! Granted, the colours were all included in the palette this challenge used, but I'm glad I managed to pick them somewhat harmoniously regardless :)

I'm really honoured by the invite offer! Sadly I don't think my style is quite what the collab is looking for, but I'm really looking forward to seeing all the finished pieces! :)

Very cute! I love the colour contrast between the green leaves and the berries :)

Agreeing with SeDiceBisonte, the pose is great! I also really love the way you did the ditchering in the wings.

Pretty design and great palette! I also really like how you did the shading and lights of her hair in the portrait :)

Very pretty! I love how detailed yet still perfectly readable the hair looks in particular.

The way you stylize the characters to fit such a small size is very charming, and it's a joy to look at all the little things simultaneously happening on the canvas. When I saw this work on the site's queue I was so vividly reminded of the point-and-click games I played as a child, I think you really captured the kind of whimsy and wonder of observing small details that many games of that era possessed.

This is beautiful, the colour contrast between the stag and the rest of the piece is very attention-catching, and I love the way you did the forest on the background

Thank you, he is indeed very soft! 🌞

Smaller canvases have always been SO intimidating for me which is exactly why I want to do more of them, so that one day I can tackle my strongest enemy (deviantART's 50x50 pixels)

Thank you, and thank you for pointing out the colour bloat! I actually only recently discovered that my reliance on using colour picker on non-pixel art character references resulted in excess bloat as the difference was too minute for a naked eye to see, but what programs like Aseprite detect as distinct -albeit minimal - colour changes (idx-28, idx-29, idx-30 and so forth). I was using an app where this information wasn't as visible, but have now figured out how to see it and ensure the palette actually stays consistent in my new works!

EDIT: Oh my god I'm stupid, I only now realize the idx ones only show the order of colours on my palette lmao. Anyway, the problem was RGB colours being colourpicked into indexed mode that resulted in shades that look just enough similar I didn't realise they didn't match  Lesson learned haha

This is such a visually pleasing image to look at, both for the subject matter and the great job with the colour palette and cross-hatching. I also really like the way you did the cat's chest fur!

This is gorgoeus! Love how naturally the eye travels towards the center, not to mention the incredibly pleasant palette and anti-aliasing on the stars
