Nice! But I think you should try to darken the hair, so that you can see the face and the hair better. Very good work with few pixels. :)

The shadows are really simple, what gave a style to that piece. I like it like that, but you could try to put a mid tone between the dark and the light blues, mixing the tones and giving a more natural look...just to try! i like that piece the way it is. :D

I disagree from you, I think it looks really nice! If you wanted for it to look more realistic, you should improve the shadow on the monsters face, using a darker tone to make its faces outline... you used brown pixels everywhere, it gave a style to the drawing. I like it a lot!
