BTW, I made a little tool for quickly replaces image elements with canvases with the same dimensions to allow for crisp scaling on the majority of browsers, without much code or needing to manuallly upscale images. It's a bandage fix until image-rendering is more well-supported: http://stuff.bysheldon.com/pecan/

Only issues are lack of GIF support and there isn't an easy way to resize/scale the canvases after the fact. Still, it should be useful for portfolios.

Speaking of pixel art scaling, I made a thing last night to easily convert resized image elements to crisp-looking canvases. It needs a couple things before it would be good as a userscript (resizing canvases and binding events on resize), but it's decent for portfolios.

It's a temporary fix until the image-rendering changes are adopted, and it's good because users won't have to install anything.

Oh, I used the colour and contrast adjustments in Graphics Gale for the majority of the enemy sprites. I never knew it was that crazy, though. Just bad palette management on my part, I suppose.
