I am new to pixel art. I have actually painted the gun at a higher resolution and then made it smaller and adjusted the border,which certainly doesn't seem to work.Yeah the anti-aliasing is automatic. I haven't done it manually.

Which size would you recommend for making the first color draft for pixels before lowering the size down?

I would really like some suggestions.
