I think it's great that you attempted visual storytelling instead of showing off your technical skill muscles. My issue is with the cake itself, that in no way or form have i read as a piece of cake the first time i looked at the picture! (i thought it was just the tongue rolled onto itself). But making it some other color would have murdered the elegant palette. But after studying it some more it finally clicked! Great!
