Haha, yeah, the original character is a very grumpy-looking but gentle bear with a frightening appearance. I just wish there was a way I could have portrayed his claws better :(

 Oh yes, of all the ones posted here so far I'm least happy with this one. I'm now trying to learn a little about AA from staring at people's art and reading tutorials and will probably try to apply it to my next one.

There's still so much to learn, but I took on this challenge willingly and I aim to get better at it :D I'm very thankful for the feedback and will try to learn from it :)

 Thank you! I love cats as well and have been drawing a lot of them in this style recently. Now  I really want to make more cute little animals in pixel format :D

 Thank you for the feedback! I admit I'm still kind of cautious with my use of color and contrast in pixel art and this could really use some more depth. Your edit helps, although imho the contrast there is a little too high for my tastes, I want the shading to be subtle. I'll see what I can do though :D
