Although now with the release of flash 8 it might be possible to make faster running games with its superb double buffering (something all games do, and the real clincher for making games in this new version of flash)

One I spotted in a Japanese arcade and uses very old cabinet tech, looks like a nes game. The other is called "Xandra big adventure" (according to superplay, although spelt sa-n-do-ra in Japanese I'm going for "sandra". Not a very heroic name in English) and is for the Snes. The character ran as a bit of a Namco (namcot in those days) mascot, and I bet he/she appears in quite a few games. here's my min copy of the game, -must be worth a bomb to the right ebayer.
