I don't understand what is going on in this piece. So much unreadably confusing noisy details.

I can read the roof, the pipe, the bridge, but below the roof it loos just like white noise

NES doesn't support 12x12 sprites. Only 64 8x16 sprites or 8x8 sprites. To draw 12x12 sprite you need to use two 8x16 sprites, in effect wasting 4 pixels on both sides. I have managed to do 8x8 sprites, and 8x16 should be a bit easier.

a few nitpicks:

1. the saucer lineart has some irregularities.

2. shadow at the bottom of the cup is strange, and makes it hard to read shape - the cup blends with the saucer.

3. The black background could be replaced with a proper table texture.

4. Some antialiasing on the edges wont hurt.

lineart and palette could use some refining. Currently she is just flat. Like no shades. I.e. she emits light by herself, like a lightbulb or stainded glass window art.
