*Yawn* sounds like someone is trying to protect his illegal movie stash!

Yeah, I sympathize with your cause, but honestly anyone who actually cares about "internet freedom" is really more concerned with sustaining their illegal or distasteful Internet practices.  However, I fall into that group, so you can count my name on that list.   But think about it, how many Johnny Uptight’s are there? How many people have never used the Internet for distasteful practices; and if these people do exist, do they really care whether the Internet becomes restrained or not?  Why would Susan the soccer-mom care if her “top secret yam recipe” gets to her other soccer-mom friends a little slower?

Just think about it and then look at how you use the Internet.  Do you really have philanthropy on the mind, or are you just standing up for number one?  Take a long hard look at yourself as a person and then decide if you are ready to crusade against Internet oppression.
