no, not for a game - just a silly idea to picture the main characters when I read some time ago the great book of Felix Dan "Ein Kampf um Rom (A fight for Rome)". I only wondered if it could be possible to characterize the different parties of protagonists in this small scale... You are right, the color palette isn't very smooth, I didn't think much about it, only the purple as a symbol for the highness of the byzantine emperors is chosen carefully...

wow, great work! It reminds me a bit of a trip to the suburbs of buenos aires. but there is one thing I am wondering - I would expect some painting on the walls in a bad barrio - not the yankee style of graffity but some political stuff, painted by hand...
