ok so high color count is indeed a major fault that keeps images from being published. i didn't know that. maybe i should read the forum rules... this was all hand pixeled, i think it's easy too see that. i don't have time to cheat on pixel forums, believe me. anyway my friend liked it and that's all that counts.

how do you know how many colors there are?
anyway i don't really count them, this is not for a game, it's just for fun.

very nice colors. i think AA would mess it up, it needs to be sharp

i think those beverages are pale, coffee and coke are definitely darker. but well executed nonetheless

If this is really handpixelled then you are great but still it's a lot of work for nothing: the body is out of proportion (big knee, thin clf, small foot, rickety arm...female fingers taper at the tip...)

I think you should lighten the two exterior pixels at the bottom of the cheeks, or, even better, round up the face more, fattening the neck. Also the top of the head is rather flat. Add some depth and highlights to the eyes to male them come out alive.

Hi. I think the shape still ain't right, maybe the paws look a bit too long and thin, but then again they have tiger stripes so...Also I think the head is a bit small and we probably shouldn't be able to see both eyes . You could add the tail. And of course AA will get rid of sharp edges but that will be HARD to animate!

C'mon, everybody knows this is Jimmy Page, very well done, but I don'tlike the flat version

I agree wih Pawige, especially about the skulls: with less dithering they would have more depth. But good nonetheless

a fifth (lighter) shade would definitely improve the depth if applied to the outward edges.

I think pepsi is dark blue, but the again i don't drink soda. And yes it looks shrunk. you want to draw a little bigger to have a bit more detail

You can draw without the background and save a GIF or a PNG with trasparency.

Well Jalonso, i don't foam at the mouth when i see a videogame so i have no wet dreams of redrawing characters or animating walking cycles, but i thought Michael Bolton deserved to be carved in pixels (and history) with all the entertainment he provides with his songs and his looks. Other people are welcome to draw Mario, though, it's just not my idea of a good time.

Well, using a million colors when 6 do the job, THAT I don't understand. As you become more skilled you learn to use less colors and less pixels but a challenge like this really speeds up the process. You have to learn first how 2 colors interact, then slowly build up. Also there is style involved here, sometimes you go for the simpler look given by a few colors. Great work!

awesome. the AA must have taken ages, or rather it would take ME ages to do it. really good, keep it up!

i like the shape so i give it 3 points. my taste is a bit different i like things to be a bit more realistic. i would have drawn a wet hide, a shimmering trail and a boggy landscape as background. the only mistake here is the random shadow

i like the thick outline too! some edges are a bit too sharp, leke his right heel, but good nnetheless.
