it's too late now.
People need to take responsibility and accountability for their own submissions. I am not here to pick up your slack. Sorry to sound so harsh but let this be a lesson.

Koch (Level 6 Made) @ 8/20/2007 07:54
Awww.... I didn't know you could do that, after I posted, which was 2am where I live I went to sleep.  I fixed it and PM'ed you like you asked.  Please put mine in the competition.

pixelblink (Level 9 Federal Agent) @ 8/19/2007 23:33
and just in case anybody doesn't know, you can actually edit your own submissions. I'm not doing this for you. You're all smart enough to figure such a simple task.

less than 30 minutes to go lazy bums!

Koch (Level 6 Made) @ 8/19/2007 22:16
I PM'ed you but not sure if it went through, just in case here is a link to my fixed pixel.

Please make sure you are abiding by the rules of the challenge. Particularly the colour count and size parts. I have gone through each submission and removed almost half from the challenge so far

17 : (

And it was partly facetious, though it IS the only lightgun game I've ever played or recall.

cure (Level 11 Godfather) @ 8/13/2007 11:10

Jal:  I searched the site for "showdown", it was in the first three results : P

Metaru:  There were lightgun games other than duckhunt? : O

soda (Level 10 President) @ 8/13/2007 10:13
I was just thinking about cowboys the other day, I'll enter.

DJD (Level 4 Button Man) @ 8/13/2007 09:59
Ah, cure beat me too it. I was going to say I demand xion to enter using that same style and charm. Absolutely stunning.

This is a wonderful challenge, good luck to everyone!

Another 'retro' Example

jalonso (Level 11 Godfather) @ 8/13/2007 09:02
omg, I spent 30 minutes looking for that second link.

cure (Level 11 Godfather) @ 8/13/2007 08:07

This isn't quite a showdown, but xion's mockup is still western and a great reference.

Also, this is a great reference too.

Gas:  The old American west.  Cowboys havin' one on one gunfights in the middle of the streets at high noon.

jalonso (Level 11 Godfather) @ 8/13/2007 05:12
example 1

klav (Level 7 Mass Murderer) @ 8/13/2007 04:18
when you say old fashioned, do you mean this? ; )

Larwick (Level 8 Regional Boss) @ 8/13/2007 03:53
Guns, dust, west, cowboyz, dawn... tension.

Pixlbrik (Level 4 Button Man) @ 8/13/2007 03:48

i might try this

inkspot (Level 4 Button Man) @ 8/13/2007 03:39
Showdown as a shootout?

Stickman (Level 7 Sheriff) @ 8/13/2007 03:26
Aaahhh...it's a shame that animation isn't allowed. Small sizes like this make anims a little easier to handle.

@Gas: I think it's a showdown such as Clint Eastwood vs Lee Van Cleef cowboy style

Gas 13 (Level 9 Boss) @ 8/13/2007 02:21
Could you describe it in other words please? I don't get it.
