This is not to say you cannot resubmit the piece in the future after revising it. We encourage you to participate in our forums which include a Work in Progress (WIP) category. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and feedback for your pixel pieces before submitting them for approval on the main site. 

If you feel this is a mistake please post a FRIENDLY message in the Resources/Support section of the forum and we'd be happy to discuss it with you. Responses to this issue within the gallery site will be ignored."

Can someone explain why this pixel art was rejected?

	Because its not pixelart. The blur/dodge or any tool other than the pencil is not allowed in the Pixeljoint gallery. 99% pixelart = 100% not pixelart for the gallery. Add to this that this is not a very original piece, we've all seen a gazillion goombas. Move on pixel something else and use the WIP section of the forum to show your work before you submit so that you don't get any art sent back again, just in case.

	well, i did all this with a pencil tool (all of it!), and my (fan) character is a goomba with a shell. and belive me, there is no a goomba with a shell other then this (i checked!). it may look like i didn't use the pencil tool, but i did it 100% with it. anyways that's my opinion.

	hmmm... only 39 colors. Perhaps I was wrong, even though that area is just awful looking. Its almost impossible to see the 'shell' you mention:? I was not the Mod that sent this back so I cannot say exactly what someone else found wrong with it, maybe they will reply to you.

	you're right, but i know about the background and the shell problem. BG: i'm not that good in making backgrounds. Shell: it always like that, i need to find out how to fix it.
