![]() Topic: Resizing 2x2 to 1x1 without AA garbage?Posted: 07 December 2009 at 11:12am |

Because everything that I've tried (Paint, Photoshop) has horribly mutilated my 2x2 Amiga screenshots (taken in WinUAE). I have these big, blocky pixels that I want to reduce into single pixels, but they get all antialiased and horrible when I try to put them in their native resolution. Observe:
![]() ![]() Hideous fringes around everything, and blurry to boot. Is there a way to resize them without getting this effect? Edited by Danelock - 07 December 2009 at 11:16am |

You need to use the "Nearest Neighbor" algorithm in Photoshop. Select it in the dropdown below "Resample Image:" In the Image Size dialogue.

And in paint you need to do ctrl+A (Select all) before ctrl+W (Stretch/Skew) :)

In paint, you can also select everything and then press CTRL + "-"
But indeed, you have to select it. ![]() Edited by Lollige - 08 December 2009 at 2:43am |
