there's not much to say...
if you're using grey, why not use it to add some more depth to your black and white pixels?

I disagree. A piece with a couple of greys is much easier. In a 1bit piece, and blown up pieces, every pixel is much more important. Maybe try out some posterised-style pics before going right to the threshold :P

Thanks for the comment. Working "only" using black is hard, it's write and erase for about 6-20 hours each one. But when the last pixel is done is a great feeling. Step by step, pixel by pixel xd.
