Hey,
I am working on a tile set using the nes pallete along with a sprite. I'm starting a wip thread for both a repository and a place to receive criticism. My goal is to make a mockup that passes any nes restrictions, 16x16 tiles/sprites and finish with something that would have been released back in the day. If you notice anything that I am missing to meet these restrictions, please let me know. I am having difficulty on the sprite because I read that each 8x8 area can only have 3 colors. I know the waterfall isn't good at the moment but if I decide to make it a sprite, again I can only use 3 colors so I am going to hold off for now. The black background and the grass is just a placeholder . Depending on what I do with the black background will determine what happens there.
