Hello there.
I made a simple tileset for my new platform(metroidvania) game.
Anyway,I wanted to go with the simple and clean theme because im not so good in pixel art.

The tile:


The player(Kinda hate it but that what I could do):

(hands very small but you see them in-game)

Its "ok" but the game feels so empty and I cant draw any backgrounds / decorations, in that style anyway..
(p.s the whole game set underground in a cave. You fight slimes/skeletons/etc..)

So can anyone give me some tips or examples how to continue from here?

The player sprite is good. I would move the right eye over 3-4 pixels.
Make all assets to match it in look.
Start by making a skeleton to match it by using the player sprite as the base and make the bones.
You're never going to get good if you don't go for it :)

Kinda sucks but..

The slime is ok for now but the skeleton does not.
Paint a skeleton over the player sprite so the bones are where they should be.
Skeletons don't have eyes, they have holes.

on the player, his face is at 3/4 but the neck of the shirt is straight on, so shift the neck whole over a little to the right.
