I'm terrible at it, and I find it's my weakest area when making things, and is usually where I give up on something, so I'm trying some gray-scale stuff to get my shading skills up a little bit

The guy is in a 32x32 block, uses 3 shades to simplify, yellow arrow shows light direction, My question is, where could it be shaded better?



He is holding a bo staff behind his neck and over his shoulders, with his left hand lower, and his right hand up top, and I know he's a little rough looking atm haha
