So there is a city? Why not let us have a look on it and even have few more screen shot? :)
For an indie game I don't get why you would port your java code to C#. You may face a loss on gamers from mac and linux. |

Well, though Java is less eficcient, if your game is not planned to be a triple A production wich needs a lot of ressources, you may go Java.
If the decision does not depend on the target devices make yourself two questions: Which languaje are you most comfortable with? And, There's a reason to program such as hard thing as a game in the languaje I'm less comnfortable with (such as learning, challenge, scool project specifications, etc...)? About the pixelart; it looks simple and nice, (specially the character), but there's no contrast between grays, also I learnt from some well experienced people that most of the time we shouldn't use pure grays, it's better to add some blue, green or red to them, and it's always confusing for the eye to render backgrounds and characters parts in the same color. Some more detail to the character would help, too. I personally don't like little houses bigger from the inside than from the outside. The grass ground background is too simple too, just a color with some flowers on it... Edited by dyluck - 29 September 2014 at 7:44am |
