Colour Practice --- a monster sprite from Breath of Fire 3. ORIGINAL -- My Attempt -- The lineart went a 'lil lopsided, but I think the colours look pretty good. He needs to be a little more chubby though, *sigh*. I'm not submitting this into the gallery, because it lacks originallity. It was good practice, otherwise. C&C please! ^_^ Edited by Siren |

I think if you want to practice color you should try doing some of the lineart thats available here, the original image you started with is very strange looking

I guess it's kind'a odd...a fish-frog mutant. I love the sprites from the Breath of Fire series, it's fun practicing things that I experience in gameplay. ^_^ Now that I'm looking them over, pixel by pixel. I've found myself a sprite sheet, from http://www.dragon-tear.net/bof3/?it=gallery they have a lot in their database, and, at least for me, it makes learning a new type of art so much more enjoyable. I might take a look at the lineart as you suggested, but for now, I'll be pixeling monsters!
