Pixel Joint Forum: Sprite help needed!

Hi there guys - this is the first character sprite I have ever made so
I'm really green and was hoping you could crit or comment on this bad
boy to help me out some :)

*** Dont know why it adds a gap in "animation" in the below link, just
take it out in the paste and the link should work fine-- Id love crits

	First one? Wow, I remember my first character.. ouch. You got talent, keep it up! Only crit would be that it has a bit wrong colors as highlights on red surface, but maybe it is just me. And add some more contrast, espectually to the lower part, need darker shadows also. Also, the light seems to centered, too plane, a bit pillowish, but not quite. But overall look of it is good.
