Hello :)

I love orchids, I've got some real orchids at home so I tried to animate one (yeah, weird idea...) though I'm not good at animation.
I wanted it to look "realistic" , it's a phalaenopsis orchid.

(the image is not crop yet)
Just in case, the orchid is... hrmm... walking/sliding...
For the moment, I did not draw the flowers but I'd like to have your critics, comments and suggestions before I work on it further  :)
Thank you by advance.

It's a really nice start. The only flaw i see is that the top things don't have a round bend they go flat on top.

Very clever. Maybe theres a way to make the flower blooms something like eyes. Orquid buds that open in a way as if to appear as eye openings. May not be the easiest but it would rule. I do think a leave that faces the viewer is called for to hide the funky way the stem jumps around.

This reminds me of how odd plants really are. They just grow and develop without being self aware. A Venus flytrap kills without thinking or really knowing it;s place in existence. I also think that is kind of creepy much like jellyfish. Perhaps you might toy with that idea.....

Thanks for your help :)
I modified the stems and started to add flowers (only their shapes, the color will come later):

There is only 4 frames, maybe the "bloom" animation is too fast... I will probably add a couple of frame to slow it down,

Awww it's so cute now.. How small innocent petals hide the true killing nature of plants.

Thank you Pixel_Outlaw, I think it's cute too, not really what I intended to do at first but, I think my love for orchids is just too strong
I finished the flowers, I will try with other colors later (or maybe I should add a darker outline to the flower...)

Ok :)
I made a pink version of the orchid (I just changed the colors of the flowers)

Is it better or maybe it needs more work?
