With more than 10,000 sales on the Indie Games system and members of our team having over 20 years professional experience, no game type is safe from creation. What we lack is one thing; artists. And this is where you come in!

Members of our team have been involved in professional games that you may have heard of. Some of these include:

Burnout 2, Burnout 3, Burnout 4
Grid,
Dirt, Dirt 2
Black,
MotoGP

About you :

You are talented, motivated, but not necessarily experienced. You are bubbling and brimming over with enthusiasm. When asked to draw a postbox, you not only do so, but you draw 3 variants, and then show me 6 lampposts and 23 gravestones you did at the same time as 'They'd look really cool in the game!'. You then start arguing that the cars should have chain guns AND rocket launchers, as 'It'd kick way more ass'

Basically - you are able to take a basic idea and run with it until someone tackles you to the ground and asks you to do something else, as it's time to release the game.

In short; you rock, and you want to release awesome games.

What you are not is someone who models/draws the one thing you're asked to do, then disappear for 3 weeks as 'Call of Duty is really cool, isn't it? Also I need to get another level 80 in WoW...'

What's in it for you?
We aren't dreamers, we're releasing games, and we're making money. Tens of thousands (perhaps millions!) of people will see the work you create, in a kick-ass game. Profits are shared amongst the members of the team. If we sell 20 million copies, well, just make sure you've already picked out what colour Ferrari you'd like...

About our projects:

We have a diverse array of projects in the works, at varying levels of completion, all in need of artwork and graphical love. These include:

- Social gaming
- 2d RTS
- Shoot em Ups
- Dirtbike racing
- Tower Defence
- Racing games
- Zombie shooter
- Zombie strategy
- Zombie simulation.
- Space realtime combat

You should also love zombies and spaceships.

The primary focus at the moment is on a space shooter.

Are you interested? Do you kick ass? Do you not kick ass YET, but reckon you could if you were attached to a team of professional coders? Drop us an email: (Address below)

Common Questions I've had following this post:

How much will I get paid?

As stated above, we share profits amongst team members fairly based on the amount of input to the project. We cannot accomodate an hourly rate equivilent to that of a salary - it's not feasible. Yes you will get paid - provided you are able to offer a significant contribution.

What platforms?
As stated, we are currently working on Xbox Indie Games and although plans are already in place to release on multiple platforms - XBLIG is our primary focus. Please do some research on the market, in particular the public forums for XNA to see what's around.

How long will the project take to complete?
Our code base used for all games has elements that have been worked on consistently for over a year, therefore it is fairly easy after a few months work to release a final product. Generally, we look at recruiting artists towards the end of a project when most of the assets can be handed over with a nice "Can you redraw these please?" attached to them.

When asked to model a postbox

Is this post about (lowpoly) 3D art, or pixel art? If 3D, you should probably clarify (more) in the post.

This post is specifically looking for 2D artists. I will amend the post accordingly. Thank you for pointing that little hiccup out :)
