Hey, I'm new to the forums but I'm wondering if you could help me animate my sprite. It is for a social type game I am making, the game is in an isometric perspective.

Here is what I have so far:

I can build up a body, color and shade it, but when it comes to animating it I grind to a halt

I have tried separating it into parts and animating it by looking at walk cycles but it just seems messy and not smooth.

Any help/criticism would be most appreciated.

It would be easier for people to make suggestions if you post an early version, showing what you have so far. Otherwise, you're just going to get general suggestions, unless someone wants to do the animation for you.

By the way, what kind of isometric perspective? Right now it looks like the sprite of a sidescroller. Looks good though, even without genitals.
