Drown (working title) is an underwater exploration game that takes place on a far off world. You will explore, dig and fight undersea creatures while gathering unique resources to research and upgrade your technologies.

We are looking for help with pixel art. If you are talented pixel artist interested in our project, please pm me. Someone who is excited about making cool underwater stuff :)

There are two of us working on this project so far. You can see some of our other work here at our sites:
Gavin: http://gavinallenaudio.com/home.html - http://gavinallenaudio.com/home.html Audio, Music, Scripting
Scott: http://www.schipman-design.com - http://www.schipman-design.com Primary Programmer, Art

Here are some early screenshots showing some of the tech we have so far. We are using X-Flixel (XNA port of Flixel) with our own modifications as well. Most of the art you see is placeholder.

We are trying to stay away from 'mining' mechanics and focus more on exploration. All you can do for now is blast away parts of the level in order to reach other areas.
Depth is very important to our gameplay as certain depths will kill you if you do not have the right suit technology. The deeper you go though, the greater the rewards.

We've been making great progress with this game but we still need a good artist to join us!
