I've been working on this one for a bit and I am having trouble with shading the armor. I'm also having trouble filling the gap between the belt and the top part of the armor.

Can anyone help me out please?

Probably the best thing to do first would be determine a light source.
The highlights on the shoulder pads give me the impression that it's
coming from either in front or slightly off to the side, yet the highlight
on the shin pad is coming from the right. :-)

I suggest you first do a larger sketch with simple, bold lines that can be translated into pixels.  That will make it easier to plan how to fill in the gaps.

It's hard to suggest how to shade it, without knowing what the armour is like. Is this a full suit of plate armour, or just a breast plate over a suit of leather?
