Hey folks, first post and my first attempt at pixel art. I'm following a whole bunch of tutorials and trying to stitch the skills together. I'm looking to create an isometric shopping centre type affair.
I've got the below so far, please feel free to point out where I might be going wrong. I'm not naturally artistic but I'm very willing!
Many thanks!
*Edit* - I've noticed the image looks blurred? I'm not sure why. I saved as a png and uploaded as a png. It doesn't look that way if I open the file locally. Could just be my eyes, I need to climb into bed.

I'm not a pro at pixeling, but I think you're starting well with this.. I mean, the lines are clean and in the correct angles. So far it looks clean and nice
But for the sake of improving, I don't think it's necesary to dither in the floor of the FOR RENT building, both colors are too similar t be noticed (I almost missed it)and the dither doesn't really add much to anything. Also I think there might be a scale problem in the red lined building, if those are doors then the ceiling is too low, maybe you can add a simple character to keep everything in the right size?
That's it for now... keep on going!

Fantastic, cheers mate I'll keep at it. I was worried about the highlights, the angles and the scale. I'm going to really struggle to make a character that small, but I'll give it a go. Thanks for the point about the dithering, I just thought I'd give it a go, but it is a little redundant.
I'll keep at it, cheers!
