Hello there~ Introducing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yip_Man - Yip Man !
Please help me to make progress the long cloth shading.
I just can't follow the real picture to draw a good shading...It made me crazy...
This piece's main reference is from: Sattanazio's http://www.pixeljoint.com/files/icons/full/mugiwaraspkmfinalt2.gif - One piece trainers
My little reference is under, and how to understand the shading when I am looking at them?

Look at the pixel reference again. The contrast between shaded cloth and non-shaded cloth is much more distinct on the references.
Your choice of gray and slightly darker gray is a bit too hard to read without zooming in or focusing hard on it. You should look for a shade that is immediately recognizable at first glance as shaded cloth without being so dark that it draws the eye specifically to it.
Play with deepening those shadows. Then you can work on molding the contours, curls, and folds of the cloth and get the look you are after.

Very useful feedback! Thank you.
I change it but still feeling construction and shading is confused...
