Hello,
I am looking for a 2D Pixel Artist for a new Game that I am making and that is currently in pre-production phase.
The game will be a top-town twin stick shooter, rogue like mix, set in a modern day, urban environment. The story is about a bilbicap apocalypse breaking lose in the undergrounds of a big city. Think of the game as a mesh up between Hellgate London and The binding of Isaac.
I dont have any hard guidelines, when it comes to the art style. It should be pixel art and I like it to be some bigger resolution sprites (like 32*32). I would like something like a mix between sword and sworcery and titan souls, but I am really open to any ideas and inspiration.
I am hoping to find someone to collaborate through the entirety of the project, so you are basically the art director of the game. You have any creative freedom you can wish for.
I dont have an awefull lot of money. Compensation can be either paid on a asset by asset basic, or via revenue share throughout the whole project.
I am also open for anybody who has not much experience, but thinks he can do pretty pixel art.
The assets I need are of the following type:
Animated Character, top down perspective, animated facing at least in 4 directions with all the common animations, like walk, run, melee attack, firing of 1 and 2 handed weapons, death, spell casting etc.
Environments.
If you are interested, either reply to this post, shoot me an e-mail to brainshack at gmail dot com or add me in skype, with the same e-mail address. I am usually online arround the afternoon hours till evening, CET. It would be great if you could provide some work samples aswell.
Cheers and Happy Holidays,
Chris
