Hey everyone!
Got spare time to pixel again and started this sentry turret concept.

What do you pixelwizards think?
Any suggestions, edits or criticism is welcome!

Love,
The Qemist

I think it looks great.
Not knowing its use I will say that the base being to huge makes the turret less imposing as a standalone item :/

Maybe add some wear and tear.

We dont want to make it look damaged as its a game object where destroyed parts are disfunctional

for example:

thanks for the suggestion though!

WOOOOW do you care if i use this? This is amazing. I would edit it for myself so as not to be ripping from you, but as a base concept this is awesome!

I cant give you premission to use it. Its for our upcomming mech shooter called "META4". Sorry. :)

Just search for iso mech or whatever you want to create (even a real 3D model could work) and a/b with it (use it as a reference).

No problem. I'll delete in the morning.
So did you make this yourself this time or still in project collab mode?

Yeah this one is my work.

Actually for example the mech was my work too. I paid to get it refined and more detailed. Got a overhaul.

The map pack was a remake from the things I did too. They ended up being completely different because it worked and looked better though.

Again yes this is all me. No one else on it.
Its not finished yet in my opinion and its lacking detail. I wasnt sure if the iso was good enough and was hoping for some critisism. Wich is why I posted here.

Also if there is art I didn't create I wouldnt upload it on the gallery. Didn't know the rules back then.

Thanks again J.

You sell yourself short. It all matches to me.

Its been a long day from 9 till my post. I really wasn't sure anymore and my own opinion I couldn't trust anymore.
I work throughout the week so barely have any time and I really want to keep up on the project.

Created it all in a day.
Going to do art details, pixel fixes and animations upcoming week.

Awesome work. The kind of things that make my day to look at.
I almost feel embarassed to point anything in pieces like this, since I'm not very skilled at this, but just in case it might help:
The green bar thingy in the top of the base of the turret looks aesthetically a little odd, specially beeing in just one of the 8 sides, and the AA outline looks a little weird to me, not saying that it's technically incorrect, but somehow does not match with the whole picture, the angle of the bar being weird in contrast with the tilt of the base.
If it does not mark the status of the tower from green to red, I would adjust,  or maybe just remove it.

Thanks for your comment and opinion / criticism. I understand what you're trying to point out. I was worried about that also. Guess you confirmed my doubts.

I also notice the top of the turret ducking in the animation. Probably the reasons why I had doubts about the isometrics. Its positioned too low on one of the renders.

Still need to think of a way to connect it to the bottom also..

Trying to fix shapes and add detail. Having alot of struggle perfecting it so far.

Edit: forgot to mention I adjusted to some of the advices given like the red light and a little wear & tear.
