Hi everyone,

I'm developing a 2D game creation app/engine (specifically geared towards Action RPGs) called Zenith 2D. I am looking to hire a pixel artist to create a bundle of assets that will be included and sold alongside the software, so I will need a full commercial use license.

The goal is to build a small playable ARPG mini-game that showcases the engine's capabilities.

What I'm looking for:

- Style: Top-down ARPG, heavily inspired by Zelda: The Minish Cap (ideal) or Zelda: A Link to the Past.
- Resolution: 16x16.

Assets needed:
- Environment: Tileset(s) for a basic area (e.g., overworld/village or a small dungeon), including animated tiles (like water, torches, etc.).
- Characters: A main hero and a couple of enemies/NPCs with full ARPG animations (idle, walk cycle, attack, take damage, death).
- Items & Equipment: Basic ARPG weapons and items (sword, shield, bow, arrows, and some basic drops like coins or health items).

Compensation:
I am completely open to how we handle this. I am willing to pay directly for the work (flat rate for the whole pack or an hourly rate). Alternatively, if you believe in the software and want to be part of it, I am very open to discussing a revenue share or bringing you on board the project as a partner.

If you are interested, please reply to this thread or send me a DM with:
1. A link to your portfolio.
2. Your estimated rates or your interest in a partnership.

Looking forward to seeing your art!

Hi everyone,

First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in my response. I was away on vacation and only just got back to my desk!

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out. I’ve received several replies and I'm really grateful for the interest in the project.

Since I'm just getting caught up, I will take the next few days to carefully review all of your portfolios and messages. I want to give everyone's work the attention it deserves. I will make sure to post an update here or reach out to you directly very soon.

Thanks again for your patience and for your interest!
