We are working on a Castlevania/Metal Slug 2D side scrolling shooter to coincide with the release of a documentary/"comedy" we are filming, called "Super Ghosts 'n ...Ghosts?". The movie surrounds myself and my crew going "ghost hunting" all over the U.S. and making fools out of ourselves in the process. We're trying to do a more realistic and more entertaining version of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, with a large comedic twist.

The video game (titled "Super Ghosts 'n ... Ghosts?: The Movie Colon The Game!) is about the crew fighting ghosts, zombies, vampires, and the Ghost Hunters crew with a huge arsenal of weapons, including rocket launchers and M60s in some of the scariest locations on Earth like an old abandoned insane asylum and a church made entirely out of human bones.  We are serious about bringing an all around experience with the game and the movie and prove that tie-in movie/games don't suck!

We are looking for individuals who are experienced in the following categories:

Pixel Art / 2D Sprites (With Animation)
- Characters
- Weapons
- Special Effects (Fire, Explosions, Blood, Light)
- Creatures (Monsters, Zombies, Ghosts)

Background / Concept Art
- Dark, Abandoned Locations
- Gothic Locations
- Parallax Scrolling Backgrounds
- Detailed and creative

You do not need to possess all of these talents, but if you can satisfy one, like you can really do weapons really well that's fine too.

We are looking for art that is on par or close to the Metal Slug Series: detailed background, complex characters and realistic explosions.

The game has many elements:

- Tons of weapons, degrading over time with use
- Ability to swap up to three weapons
- Super Powers
- 10 DIFFERENT locations with complex levels and multiple paths
- Over 40 different enemies over multiple classes and ranks
- Dynamic Mouse Aim (Shoot in any direction)
- Scripted events (mounted machine guns, vehicles, elevators, mine carts)
- Brutal Boss Battle (Larger than life!)
- RPG Leveling Up (that actually benefit you!)
- Drop in/Drop Out Co-Op Play
- Multiple characters
- Time Attack Mode
- Boss Battle Mode
- XBOX 360 controller support of the PC
- Hilarious story and characters
- 4 brutal difficulties that made it a challenge to play
- Over 125 achievements worth 9,999 points (plus a free prize for getting all achievements)

You must have a good sense of humor and be ready to laugh a lot and work hard.   Our Co-Investigator, Danny, is a programming student at Full Sail and will be the lead on the project.   He is very skilled and extremely excited to start working.

The time table is set for a June 1st release of the movie and the game, but can be very flexible. This a great opportunity to showcase your talents and you will be promoted on our websites.

Compensation: Because of intense negotiations with artists and everyone saying something different for what is fair we are only offering a percentage of what we make when we sell the game. The final platforms for the game will be PC(and maybe XBOX Live Arcade and the iPhone). There will be two versions: a $4.99 online version and a $8.99 DVD version with case.
