Have a small project I'm working on and just started some of the graphics for it. That said, I'm making a small base for the characters to work off of.

5 heads tall - 100 x 500 to work with

Any suggestions on the anatomy (etc) of it would be great!

This is all the help I can give you.

maybe you should do MORE before you bump.
Don't bump if you don't have anything new to show.

Maybe try shading it or something, I dunno.

My first thought would be don't be afraid to use a reference.  If you go to http://3d.sk - http://3d.sk and http://www.human-anatomy-for-artist.com/ - http://www.human-anatomy-for-artist.com/ there are a lot of pics to be found. They're small unless you pay, but for a pixel art reference, they're adequate.

As far as comments go:
 * The skin color is seems a bit too beige.  You might want to tweak it a bit -- saturate it some more and add a subtle pink tone to it, but not too much.
 * The feet are too close together.
 * While we're on the feet, they appear to be pointed straight down.  Take a look at a head-on view of a human foot, and see if you can imitate that.
 * The crotch is a couple of pixels low, I think.
 * Shading is always a plus, as I've been learning over the past couple of days.  Take a look at the Female Base Sprite thread and read the critiques of my art.  There are some awesome pointers there.
 * Don't mind me too much -- I'm a noob.

Peace,
Lendrick
