Hi, I am developing an application that will be used to create RPG Games and I have seen many wonderful artists here so I figured I would post a job offer. While this will be a paying job, it will not be immediate as I do not have the funds to hire anybody just yet (You will not be asked to do any work until I have the money to pay you, which may take a few months to sort out as this is a rather costly project due to having to hire programmers and other workers). Think of yourself as being put on a roster list for later work. When your services are needed you can be paid per week, month, etc.
As for the job itself, this is what would be needed:
About 100 static sprites for battles. These will range from 16x16 to 128x64 pixels in size.
About 50 sprite sheets. Most sprites will be 16x16 but some may be 16x32 or 32x32.
About 100 item icons. These are 8x8.
About 20 tile sets. Tiles will be 16x16, and many can be recycled in other sets. This includes a menu system tile set and a font set.
About 30 battle backgrounds. These will be 240x160.
About 5 panoramas. These will be 480x160 and need to be tile-able.
About 30 battle animations, such as slashes and fire blasts. These vary in size and may be rather difficult.
These need to be of fairly high quality, or at least much better than what I can do. For examples of my work check out my gallery here: http://www.pixeljoint.com/p/22353.htm?pg=1&sec=icons - (link)
If you are interested either post here or PM me with a price quote, schedule information, and any questions you may have regarding the project.
Thanks,
Dillon
