Game Information:
The name of the game is Revolution Online. It is a Two Dimensional Isometric MMO with a four directional movement system. Equipment and items, etc, are based along a rather popular system in some games, the "Paperdoll System", where players can design their looks, and their stats, based on what they equip into their paperdoll. The game is based in an era of medieval and technology mixed into a bundle of enjoyment. There are five choose able classes in the game, Fighter, Mage, Archer, Thief, and Engineer. Each of these classes have three jobs each. (Example: Fighter to Knight to Blademaster) Of course, no game can have anything without good Pixel Art, and even though I can do some Pixel Art, it is not to a very good extent, and at that, not very great quality, and so because of this I am looking for a good Pixel Artist who thinks they are up to the commitment. Job Information: Obviously, since this is an MMORPG, it needs a Pixel Artist who is prepared to commit. This could mean having to create thousands of sprites in the games development, and quite likely many more. We will not be too strict on deadlines, as the game is still in early development, but we will not accept something like a quick rush of a sprite sheet a week. Even a perfected sprite sheet in a week is not what we would like. So as I hope I have explained, we will not tolerate anyone that joins to slack around and hope to "be a cool rulezor admin thatz can banzor everyones" as I tend to hear some people say. This project is serious, and so if you do wish to join, think about what you're doing. The very moment we spy that you're just in it for the gain, you will be booted out before you know we figured it out. Salary Information: Now, unfortunately, since this is a small project as of now, we cannot currently offer any profits to members. We would like to say now though, that if the game starts profiting from something such as a Game Shop, the profits will be distributed among staff, so do not expect to join and never gain any revenue. The general distribution for a pixel artist, would be $x.xx per sprite sheet. Our previous work involves: Myself (Raolan) - iBlogg, ElliMedia, Mirage Web Design, GuSoLe Online, Magicide Online Zhab - No known previous projects, though hoping to learn from a more experienced programmer during the progress of the game. Has created a crude TCP/IP server/client. De-Luge - No known projects. Ancient Whisper - No known projects. Team Information: Myself - Writer, Game Designer, Web Designer, Musician, Other Art, Web Host, Support. Zhab - Support Programmer hoping for a Lead to join to handle Core parts of the programming.
