Message

   I was gunna post in the OTT then i realised there aren't enough On-Topic Threads.

Diablo 3 is gunna be awesome. And i need to know who here agrees or disagrees and who doesn't know about it and needs to know. I'm a Diablo freak. My dad got me D2 when i was about 13. Sure, that wasn't very parental of him, but damn it was one of the best presents he's ever gotten me and he payed for my new computer and tablet (ok so yeah, it comes after those things).

	Oh ya, Diablo3 looks super sexy. My dad played D2, so that how I came to know of it, and watched the D3 game play trailers and now I'm super intrigued.

	For some reason, I dug diablo 1 over diablo 2. Not sure why. Graphics, story, and ambiance felt less believable in D2. Plus D2 will not function on a vista computer, and they ain't gonna fix that. D3 looks wicked, though!

	There are 3 classes so far, does anyone have their favourites? I was never THAT keen on the Barbarian. The Wizard is awesome and seems to have a sweet rebel-like persona, but the Witch-Doctor has hooked me from the beginning :P

	I'm not too keen on the witch doctor. Controlling minions is not my thing.....outside the real world, that is. Anyway, I love the wizard. I love being able to destroy multiple enemies at once with a baragge of impresive looking spells.

	Alright then Sab. I think what's great about the Witch Doctor in comparison to the Necromancer is that his minions are really disposeable. Which i think will be a really interesting way to fight, especially now the skills are more accessable. I am gunna get the bitchin'est locust swarm also, i wanna see nothin' but the bonez! The rune/skill system looks mega too.

	I've kind of been put off by the way Blizzard started homogenizing all of their franchises since Warcraft 3. It works really well for a specific audience, but something about it gives me this nagging sensation in the back of my head. I wouldn't call it wasted potential, they're good at what they do, but something just feels amiss. Lovely graphics though.

	I've noticed that the new graphics introduce hue shifting, which gives a much different vibe off than the ones from D1 and D2. But people can't seem to pinpoint it. Although the Blizzard graphics guys say 'when you look back you notice a lot of colour' and that is true, they forget what kind of colour it was. It was very dark and very monotonous. Now with the new colours people get a fantastical, gay vibe. At least that's how i see things. I used to hate it but i don't really care any more.

	Pahahahah, I can just see someone's necromancer running around in black and gloomy clothes with one of those abominable anime :3 faces from maplestory. Awesome.

	I played and finished D1&2.Now when I think of it I beat Diablo 2 three times and my favorite was paladin.Looking forward to it I just hope they dont f*** it up.btw are they going to add more character classes?

	@Jim16: I doubt they'll bring Golems back, at least as summonables (although it has been rumored the Necromancer or other old classes may return in an expansion). @pipe&zlajonja: Paladin was also my favourite (followed by the Necro) and also the one i completed the game with! There will be 5 classes in total, each with 2 genders, so there are 2 more to be released. :) It's cool to see so many fans! Although i'm not surprised.

	@ lawwick: you say that and where I live in the UK they haven't heard of it, and I lived in South Africa in the time when I played 1 and 2. but yeah it is awesome and there are so many American/Canadian fans.
