and wanted to show the big picture example for it, but realized it was a work in progress so I'm putting it here. I call anything that I make within the rules on that post "Pixelace" and I always have. Feel free to comment on how much it sucks and where to go on with it. I want to make it a square, but tell me if it should be a circle, triangle, etc. and how bigger I should make it, and anything else I should sneak into it, keeping in mind that it represents my engagement to my boyfriend.
Someday I'll take over the world, just not today...

Well... about a fourth of it is. I start in the middle and make a pattern. Then I make more and edit around it, usually changing it by hand to make it look better symmetrically (getting rid of lines that start showing up) But by the time it gets this big I've made a few small full pixel arts, so the fact that I did a fourth evens out for me. But other than that, yeah. It is.

I use a few tools like circle, line, etc. but that's mostly to make guidelines, if that makes it cheating I'm sorry too. I just don't know yet how strict everyone's rules of pixel art are, just stating mine.

AMAZING it almost needs to be shown in like a game or something. Have you considered color? light pastels might be good, but you might loose detail in color. It looks like it's from an indain mosque! Very pretty!!!
