Yeah, the moon needs more detail. The background may also need to be more interesting.

Nice work so far, I think the moon only needs a bit more shading/detail. The character needs to stand out a bit more i think. |

I did a quick edit to show you what i mean, pretty much just up the contrast and shade a bit more.
