We're looking for some pixel art for a website we're building, and I was hoping maybe someone here would be interested in helping.

We need a bunch of pixel graphics, most of which would be related to American sports: football, baseball, basketball, hockey (the site that we'll use them on sells sports related t shirts). I'd be willing to pay for each graphic we wind up using on the site.

To give you an idea of the style we're looking for, think of the original Tecmo Bowl for NES. Here are some examples:


The top 2 pictures are probably the closest to what we are looking for, although I'd probably like to do something like 8 colors instead of 4.
The bottom right picture I actually found on this site (nice job B_j0k3r0!)-- I really like this style, but I prefer a simpler design, with fewer colors.

Overall we want the images to be more realistic looking than cartoon looking. And I'd be interested in seeing all different resolution styles, including ones as simple as the pic on the bottom left (taken from Tecmo Bowl). But the overall feel should be 80s video game looking, so not too smooth, not too many colors. (blocky is good!)
